You love "finding" things in the few areas we don't have locked down such as the pantry and Momma's big basket of lotions and bath bubbles. You'll take off with an item or two and run like mad around the house with it and will start giggling if I chase you for it - which I have to do sometimes.

I'm two months behind on your diary and plan to catch up, but HAVE to write about this first before I forget. You have figured out how to use the Wii remote and can use it to start and stop your favorite programs on Netflix! We think it's so amazing how once your program is over, you will toddle over to the remote and hit the "A" button to start another episode. You are so smart!

Zoo Days

We took you to the zoo for the first time yesterday! You really had a blast - outside of the animals! You were loving the unusually cool weather and being in your stroller. Also, loving your snacks! Momma had you in a giraffe outfit and matching zebra hat.

Better Late than Never...EASTER!

I'm FINALLY getting around to posting your first Easter! I'm really good about keeping up with your diary on my iPhone. However, these pictures are off Daddy's camera, so Momma got a little behind.

We went to our church's Easter Egg Hunt the day before Easter!

First time meeting the EASTER BUNNY!!!

Easter morning and the Easter Bunny left you a huge basket of goodies! You crawled right up to your basket and starting pulling everything out.

Momma rang bells at church and after church, we drove up to Hot Springs to see your Papa and Nana and family. You are my heart!

Then, we drove over to Mimi's to have Easter with Mimi, Aunt Kara and family and Aunt Kali and family. You got to take part in the hunt there as well.

You got to ride on Daddy's shoulders after the hunt. You are just so CRAZY about him!

First Mother's Day

Well, you have been sick again! :(. This time with a stomach virus. I think you picked it up at Arkansas Children's Hospital. We took you there for a swallow study (which turned out just fine - they are thinking acid reflux) and you started throwing up the next day. That, on top of an upper respiratory infection made for an unhappy Audrey the last week.

You have been such a big girl this week! You now really like holding your bottle and have been grabbing the spoon wanting to feed yourself.
You have also mastered getting to a seated position from laying down. I keep thinking you will crawl any day, but you always fake me out.

Momma has been busy working on a few crafts that involve you for Easter and your Papa's Birthday.

Momma had her first weekend out and away from you! I missed you terribly, but your Daddy took great care of you. I went with your Mimi, Aunt Kali and Aunt Kara to Tunica, MS. Momma was lucky and won enough money to buy you a really cool carseat! You and Daddy went to a car show and also went to visit your Grandma. Daddy sent me this picture of you at Home Depot. He had you in a "Free Tibet" onesie, dress pants and no shoes! You looked fine, but it cracked Momma up.

Here lately, you think it is hilarious to shake your head "No". Momma is in the process of trying to teach you to nod "Yes" too.

You also love wrestling with your lizard. I've seen you Power Drive that thing!

And, you LOVE your glow-worm. It's seriously your favorite toy. We are working on teaching you how to turn it on by yourself (the button is a bit tricky).

You've been a little fussy this week because you are getting THREE teeth (toots) in! I mean, who wouldn't be?!

Sleepover

Aunt Kara and Dan came over this weekend and stayed the night and we had so much fun! You and Dan played and played, course, not together yet. About the most interaction you had with one another was taking toys away from each other. You learned how to point this weekend and also managed to halfway pull up on the coffee table. Momma let you and Dan play with the toys in your bedroom and you found your glow-worm which is now your new favorite thing! I can't seem to get the camera in time to get a picture of you pointing, but here's a picture of you and Dan together:

Bath Time!

Bath time is probably your most FAVORITE time of the day. We started giving you a bath daily when you were a newborn and had colic because you would stop crying for 15 minutes to enjoy your bath. And, because you love it so much, we continue to give you a bath daily. We use all Aveeno products on your skin and make sure your bath is filled with bubbles and toys. You LOVE to kick your legs and splash in the water! I think someday you will be an incredible swimmer! Regardless, I think we are going to have to rip up the carpet in the bathroom and put down tile soon!! Recently, Momma started taking a bath with you when we started preschool so that we could both wash off all of our germs at the same time. You love that even more because Momma keeps the water nice and warm and it's our special Momma/Daughter time.

Lazy Sundays

Every Sunday that we don't go to church, we go out to eat with your. Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Marie and Uncle Dan at Denny's. We go there because there is a waiter there that your Grandpa likes a lot named Larry that can remember everything without writing anything down. Your Grandma immediately grabs you and hugs you and then they pass you around the table for everyone to hold. Grandpa calls this "Audrey Roulette" because he thought it was funny to see who you would spit up on. Anyway, Momma always serves you cereal/fruit there and has snacks for you and you always sit at the "head" of the table.

Wedding

Today we went to the big city of Ozark, Arkansas to go to your Uncle Kirk & Aunt Carly's wedding. You got to see about half the wedding and then Daddy took you in another room so you could play a bit. It's hard for a little one to stay still so long! The reception was a lot of fun and your cousin Emma was just totally in love with you and picked you up and played with you for so long! It was so cute because at one point, all of the girls there were huddled around you admiring how cute you were. Emma was very sad when she had to leave because she wanted to play with you more. Afterwards, Daddy took you to dance and you were the cutest one on the dance floor.

Picnic

Today we went on a picnic lunch at Wildwood park with Momma's good friend Ashley and her kids Olivia and Barrett. You had a good time! The kids commented immediately on how much you growled. ;). You ate finger foods and also ate some mixed berries with Momma.

The kids also had fun feeding the geese and swan.

We went on a walk to the pavilion and while the kids dipped their feet in the pond, you played with your paci and learned how to make a spitting noise. Perfect spring day with my girl!

On another note, so glad Daddy lowered your crib yesterday. Momma sat you down in it and came back to find you kinda standing up on your knees!

Jump JUMP!

Jumping in your Baby Einstein jumper is a very important part of your day. After your first bottle in the morning, you jump and play for about an hour. You squeal and laugh most of the time. If you want to see momma, you cock your head past the hanging toys to get a good look.

Momma's favorite part is looking at your cute little baby feet while you bounce. I could just kiss them up!

Scoot, Flip & Roll

So you can't crawl yet, but you are getting closer and closer! You use the "scoot, flip and roll" technique to move to any toy that you want to play with. Course, you are not a big fan of being on your belly, so from time to time, you stop and put your paci in your mouth and take a little baby break. I could watch you forever! You are too cute!

You LOVE your kitty Sam and squeal and laugh every time you see him! Now that you can scoot around on your belly, you play with him - which includes pulling out big handfuls of his hair and pulling and biting his tail. Fortunately, Sam loves you and understands that you are a baby and takes it ALL! He has been so patient and good with you and Momma and Daddy try to reward him for it.

Daffodils, Tulips and More Shamrocks

Daddy took off work for the morning on Wednesday and we took your picture at the 5 acre daffodil field at Wye Mountain. You were adorable in your Strasburg white and yellow dress!

Yesterday, I took you and "Auntie" to Hot Springs to meet Papa at the Tulip Festival at Garvin Gardens in Hot Springs. We had a really fun time! We took the tour on a golf cart and you and I were sitting up front and you stayed busy the whole time helping the tour guide drive. We took lots of pictures and you looked so cute in your outfit from your Mimi.

And finally, we celebrated my birthday today. We all ate lunch at Cozymel's. You had so much fun sneaking Dan's food! Then, everyone came back to our house for cake and ice cream. Momma got to babysit Dan that night, so you got some extra time with your cuz! We put you two in the bath together and was going to take some pictures, but you and Dan both started crying, so we went to plan B: bottles! Anyways, had THE BEST birthday with my family and my baby!!

Paci Skills

Momma hasn't written in a little while because you have been sick! You had a fever virus, croup with stridor and a double ear infection! Daddy joked that you were on more medicine than an 85 year old woman!

Anyway, you were finally feeling much better today, so we took you to Wye Mountain to take your pictures in the 7 acre daffodil field. I'll post pictures of that as soon as Daddy gets them ready.

Today, I wanted to tell you about just how cute you are with your paci! You love to twirl it around - kinda like a lasso and you have gotten real big into trying to share it with other people - especially Momma - who pretends to gobble it up and you think that is just hilarious!

This morning, I set you down in your crib and you realized that you could grab your mobile! Daddy got the camera in time to take your picture. You are just so darn cute!!

Afterward, we went to church and during "Time with Children", you were slobbering all on your paci and tried offering it to one of the children. She was like "Eww!!!" because there was so much slobber, but it was so cute and sweet and it cracked Momma up!

Play Date!

Tonight, baby C came over for a date! You both had so much fun playing together! Course, you took some of the toys away from C, but he didn't mind!

Momma and C's momma worked together and were pregnant with you at the same time. C is just 3 days older than you! You have more teeth right now than C, but he is ahead of you with crawling skills.

Anyway, us grown-ups had hamburgers for dinner and you guys had rice crackers for a snack. Fun times with our friends!

Dog Gone-It!

We discovered this weekend that you are CRAZY about dogs! We went to Hot Springs on Saturday to visit Papa and Nana and you immediately squealed in delight and started giggling when you saw Skip! Anytime he moved or did anything you did the same. So, we decided to introduce you to Grandma and Grandpa's dogs today and it was the same response.

So...looks like a dog may be in our future - dog gone-it! ;)
